Competitors surf the waves at Orange County’s Salt Creek Beach dressed like Santa or other holiday-inspired characters every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

This year includes SUP Santa competitions as well.

The website lists times for specific races once the schedule is set. The event is a charitable fundraiser sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

The first heats begin at 8am and continue all day until every Rudolph, Santa, and elf has ridden a wave.

Registration Opens Both Days at 7:30 a.m.

Surfing Begins at 8 a.m.
