Strawberry Festival + Amtrak Scenic Train + Santa Barbara Cruise One-Day Tour

Springtime in SoCal is too beautiful to miss! This May, take a family outing with La JaJa Kids and together we’ll embark on an enchanting journey to the scenic coast of Oxnard and Santa Barbara!

 Strawberry Festival Guided Tour  

We start off our day at California’s capital of strawberry – -Oxnard, and attend its annual Strawberry Festival with a guided tour.  The festival is jam-packed fun with non-stop entertainment, Strawberryland for Kids, gooey contests, the Strawberry Promenade, the Green Scene, and more.  

Amtrak Scenic Train  

After lunch, catch the Amtrak Pacific SurfLiner from Oxnard Station to Santa Barbara via the famous Scenic Route.  Cruise along Santa Barbara’s world famous oceanfront and enjoy a total change of your perspective on travel.  The Pacific Surfliner is a 350-mile Amtrak regional passenger train route serving between San Diego and San Luis Obispo. The sectional service that runs from Oxnard to Santa Barbara cruise alongside the beautiful Pacific coastline, and is one of the most scenic routes of Amtrak.

Santa Barbara and Harbor Ferry   

Get to experience the historic Stearns Wharf up, California’s oldest working wharf dating back to 1872, and the bustling Santa Barbara Harbor, home to over 1,000 fishing and pleasure vessels.  Stroll along the oceanfront and its many world-class restaurant, gifts and treasures.  Narrated harbor tour onboard the famous water taxi offers bits of Santa Barbara history, ecology and celebrity yacht sightings.  We will arrive back in LA around 7pm.
