I had an amazing experience at Cavalia OdysseO on Saturday, February 6,2016. I loved the horses and the way every horse was just so elegant! I can’t wait to give you the inside look on this spectacular event………

At the wonderful giant OdysseO big tent, otherwise known as the “Big White Top” we saw the spectacular show. I loved looking at it. It was just so big! When we went inside, it amazed me even more. It felt like I just walked into a theater!

Inside the stage area, it was a very cheery feeling. The stage was just so……BIG! As I sat down at my seat, the curtains began to open………

The show I watched was magnificent!!!! I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the stage. The horses were so in touch with the humans. They always listened to commands or signals so the horses would know what to do. I wished I had the skill with horses like that! The horses were really just magnificent! OdysseO is a mix of Horses, Acrobatics, aerial art, dancing, music, and singing, which makes the show the most unique you have ever seen.

Fun Facts About Cavalia OdysseO:

~ The Big White Top is 125 feet tall.

~The visuals for OdysseO requires 18 projectors and 200 moving lights! {That’s a lot!}

~There are more than 2,000 seats!!!!

~The technical grid weighs 70 tons or 140,000! {That is REALLY REALLY heavy. More than 20 elephants!}

~ The dirt,sand,and stone weighs 6,000 tons, or 12,000,000 pounds! {That is like, a lot of elephants!}

~In each city, the tents are hand washed by a team of 10 climbers!

~The stage covers over 17,500 square feet.

~Moving the show requires 120 vehicles!

~The kitchen prepares 600 meals in one day!

~The performers need between 30 minutes to 2 hours to prepare before the show!

~There are only male horses in the show.

~The stables have over 60 horses. 20 are stallions, and the others are geldings.

~About 40 horses appear in the show regularly, others are substitutes or are in training.

~The instruments used for the show are-violin,upright bass,drums,bass,guitar,flute,saxophone,djembe,kora,tatam,and the voice.

~There are 120 employees in the Odysseo Show.
