This family-friendly fall festival is held in Brookside Park in front of the museum. Families from all over the Los Angeles area are invited to enjoy carnival games, bouncers, a pumpkin patch, and free entertainment. The Pumpkin Festival, which started as a small event in 1994 as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating, has grown into a two-day event attended by more than 20,000 people each year.
