On the first Sunday of every month, admission to the Family Festivals in the Key Courtyard is free. In August, families are invited to cool down with hot jazz by Steve Johnson Quintet and other jazz greats.
Fun for kids includes free face painting, treats, and art projects including clay animals and wooden fans to beat the heat.
(Regular museum admission applies on Free Family Festival day. The Bowers and Kidseum offer free admission on Sundays to Santa Ana residents only. )
