Monthly Bike Rides with the Mayor

With over 100 miles of bikeways, a convenient bike share system with 85 stations, enviable weather and relatively flat terrain, Santa Monica is a great place to ride a bike! Even our own Mayor Ted Winterer is a cyclist and in 2017 he’s inviting everyone to join him on monthly community rides. 

The rides are on City streets with and without bike lanes. Children should be capable of street riding or in an appropriate child seat or trailer.

No bike? No problem! Just grab a Breeze Bike.

On July 15, we’ll celebrate Parks and Recreation Month with a ride to some of Santa Monica’s lesser-known parks. We will start at Reed Park (corner of Lincoln Boulevard and California Avenue) at 9 a.m. for a 7-mile ride. Click here for more details
