Pacific Asia Museum is now home to six beautiful Koi fish! These fish have an amazing lifespan of 50-75 years. They have been marvelled for centuries. Their beautiful scales and long lifespan are believed to bring good fortune to the land and the people.
From Nemo to Flipper to Moby Dick, there have been some pretty famous water dwellers in our collective culture. Use your creativity to help this new golden koi get a wonderful name! Pacific Asia Museum is holding a contest to name the golden Koi in the picture above. The winner will be awarded 4 free museum passes!
