土撥鼠日快樂!!
土撥鼠日是北美地區的一個傳統節日。每年 2月2日，美國和加拿大許多城市和村莊都會慶祝。自從 1887年以來，一代又一代的土撥鼠一直擔負著預報時令的任務。根據傳說，如果土撥鼠能看到它自己的影子，那麼北美的冬天還有 6 個星期才會結束。如果它看不到影子，春天不久就會來臨。

According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.
Modern customs of the holiday involve celebrations where early morning festivals are held to watch the groundhog emerging from its burrow.
Groundhog Day is pronounced as "Grundsaudaag, Murmeltiertag" in Pennsylvania German. In southeastern Pennsylvania, Groundhog Lodges celebrate the holiday with fersommlinge, a series of social events in which food is served, speeches are made, and one or more g'spiel (plays or skits) are performed for entertainment. The Pennsylvania German dialect is the only language spoken at the event, and those who speak English pay a penalty, usually in the form of a nickel, dime, or quarter per word spoken, with the money put into a bowl in the center of the table.
