中秋節快到了，亞凱迪亞華人協會首次和洛杉磯植物園聯合擧辦第一屆【中秋野餐賞月晚會】。“月到中秋份外圓”，在繁花似錦，綠草如茵的洛杉磯植物園裏和繁花和孔雀們共賞明月，歡渡中秋，實在是賞心悅目！
日期：9/29/2012 （星期六）
時間：4:30 to 8:30 pm
地點：The Arboretum, 301 North Baldwin Ave, Arcadia (map)
日間精彩活動有賞月野餐，各種手工藝，遊戲及藝品展示攤位，電車遊園等，多輛美食車將提供各色食品，還有免費抽獎送出禮品。
晚上六時半起有各式精彩現場表演，包括舞蹈，音楽，歌唱，武術及各種精彩表演；首先上場的是“台灣原住民中秋豐年祭”，緊接著有以月亮為經，家庭和樂為緯，函蓋兩岸三地和主流社區的表演節目，最後以"緣聚"為國家和社區，家庭和個人祈福作溫馨結尾，一同分享華人文化家庭的優美傳統。請自備野餐，毯墊，座椅等。
入場門票：成人$5* , 12歲以下兒童免費。

Celebrate Moon Festival with us at the Arboretum on 9/29!
This unique cultural experience will pay tribute to the Harvest Moon and celebrate one of the most important holidays in the Chinese community. Learn about the legends, folklore and customs associated with this significant occasion. Twilight, bilingual tram tours of the grounds will be offered, along with Chinese cultural performances. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy on the Lawn, or be adventurous and try some Chinese food that will be available for purchase. Enjoy the evening with family and friends as we watch the moon rise!
