A traditional Powwow is a time to meet together to join in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships and make new ones. The Chumash people (the first settlers of this area, thousands of years ago) were physically and spiritually united with nature, making this a beautiful way to celebrate the upcoming Earth Day with native foods, Native American arts and crafts, storytelling, children’s activities and more.
