開國元勳紀念活動

7/1/2017

$15
print

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 4th of July isn’t just about fireworks and hot dogs (although they’re both awesome) – so the Printing Press Museum helps us celebrate Independence Day with some founding fathers, otherwise known as The Confounding Brothers! Ben Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson will give a humorous and thought provoking account of the creation of The Declaration of Independence and how our nation came to be. (Play suitable for 5th grade and up.) The all-day event for the whole family includes special tours of the Museum’s working collection, an opportunity to print the Declaration of Independence on a colonial press, and the chance to print patriotic keepsakes on the antique printing presses.

Oh yes, there will also be hot dogs! Madame Brillon’s French Garden will offer up a revolutionary repast (All-American Hot Dogs, French Apple Pie, and Colonial Punch).
