The lagoon will be stocked with over 1,500 pounds of fish prior to the event!WHO ATTENDS?
We estimated 400 children, parents, volunteers and staff combined were in attendance last year!

The Huck Finn Fishin’ Derby provides an opportunity for children to enjoy the outdoor experience of fishing. Some children come to the park to fish all year long, but for others, this is the first, or only fishing experience they will ever have. It’s also an opportunity for parents and their children to spend time together as a family sharing the fun of fishing.
