Families can take a ride into the past on the Big Red Cars of the Pacific Electric at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. Pacific Electric was America’s largest interurban electric railway system, blanketing the Los Angeles region with more than 1,000 miles of rail lines.

Selected PE cars are operated throughout the year, but this weekend offers the largest group of them available to ride and photograph.

On Sunday families can treat Dad to a barbeque in the park. Lunch is served from noon until 2pm. Advance paid reservations are required by June 7.  (Ticket prices for the barbeque are $14 for ages 12 & up and $8 for kids under 12.)
