Yuri’s Night Kids

Students of all ages are invited to Columbia Memorial Space Center to learn about space, to participate in engineering design challenges, and to talk to young rocket engineers from Virgin Galactic, The SpaceShipCompany and other local space and tech companies.
High school students can meet rocket scientists, and learn about the variety of paths to industry and learn about propulsion, composite design, and more. NASA Astronaut Nicole Stott is at Yuri’s Night Kids to talk about her flight on the Space Shuttle as well as her long duration stay on the International Space Station in 2009. During her time in space she even got to do a spacewalk!
