Author Henry Lien visits Children’s Book World for a high energy launch party for his adventure-filled new book. Guests learn about the Pearl Famous Academy of Skate and Sword, where the blades are sharp and the competition is fierce.

As a student of the school, Peasprout Chen dreams of becoming a legend of wu liu, the deadly and beautiful art of martial arts figure skating. The event features a live performance of wu lui (without the skates), featuring blend gliding (a form of tap/hip hop dance) with kung fun and skating gestures.
