Fiesta Matsuri 小東京嘉年華

Fiesta Matsuri combines the Children’s Day celebration of two communities – the Japanese Kodomo no Hi and Dia de los Ninos from Mexico. Both holidays celebrate the growth, happiness, and success of children.
Free workshops include jarana & ukulele for kids at 12:30pm and mochi making at 2pm,
A selection of short films for kids screens at 11am as part of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. (Tickets are free and can be reserved online.)
KIDS SHORTS
In partnership with Visual Communications, join us at the top of the day for the opening weekend of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival for a selection of films called “Kids Shorts (Not the Kind You Wear)” on Sunday, May 5th at 11 AM in the Aratani Theatre.
