Shark Week 2019

Shark Week returns to CMA and features special shark crafts and activities each day.
Highlights include shark trading cards, a shark photo station, Shark specimens, coloring and craft activities, a Shark Week book display, a Shark Fact Scavenger Hunt, and screenings of the short film “Surviving Sharks” throughout the day.
Other fun includes 2pm shark feedings on the weekend.
It’s Shark Week at CMA and we will host special shark crafts and activities each day!
Discover why sharks are an important and integral part of our marine ecosystem and how we can help protect them from extinction.
Daily Activities, 12noon to 4pm:
(There are no Shark Week activities on Monday, July 29, as the Aquarium is closed.)
● Collect all four shark trading cards and pick up your own Junior Naturalist Shark activity book
● Find our great white shark photo station, and post your shark-selfie (#CMAsharkweek2019)
● Watch the 15-minute film, Surviving Sharks, playing throughout the day in the John M. Olguin Auditorium.
● Look for live sharks through-out the Aquarium, including the Aquatic Nursery and Exploration Center.
Exploration Center
Check-out amazing shark specimens like real shark skin, shark teeth and shark egg cases.
Marine Research Library
Visit the library to read-up on all things sharks with our special Shark Week book display, check-out Shark Tale, the movie, playing through-out the week, and test your knowledge with some Shark Week word puzzles!
Aquarium Courtyard
Enjoy exciting Shark Week coloring activities and crafts.

Are you up for a challenge? Stop by the Information booth and pick up one of our Shark Fact Scavenger Hunts. See out the sharkiest clues and receive a cool Shark Week surprise!
Gift Shop
Stock up on all our Shark Week gear from the Aquarium’s Gift Shop! We have JAW-some shark shirts, hats, toys, books, fossils and so much more! The Gift Shop is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10:30am to 5:15pm
