Natural History Museum visitors can venture under the sea with theBlu, 6-minute virtual reality experience. A VR headset fully immerses the wearer in three different undersea environments: a sunken ship, a coral reef, and the deep ocean.
Swim alongside manta rays, angler fish, and a blue whale – in virtual reality! Wearing a VR headset, you’ll embark on an incredible underwater journey to parts of the ocean few people get to see first-hand. No swimsuit required.
In this high-tech, immersive experience, you’ll explore a sunken ship and the sealife around it. Next, you’ll walk on a teeming coral reef, where you can interact with sea anemones and jellyfish. The journey ends with a deep dive down to the ocean floor, where you check out a whale skeleton and bioluminescent fish – which means they glow in the dark!
This 6-minute expedition is great for any virtual reality skill level. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the latest in VR technology and explore some of the world’s most remarkable marine ecosystems.
