The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden is a unique 127 acre botanical garden and historical site. There are plants from all over the world, including many rare and endangered species,. The Arboretum also houses outdoor historical landmarks representative of the major phases of California history- including a gorgeous Queen Anne Cottage on a lake and an old railroad depot. Kids love the peacocks, geese, turtles, herons, ducks and other creatures, as well as the waterfall and gorgeous flowers – it’s a gorgeous way to spend a sunny day together!
