Total Lunar Eclipse Comes to LA this Sunday

A total eclipse of the moon will take place on Sunday, January 20. The eclipse will be visible anywhere from southern California. No special equipment is required and it is completely safe to view.
Griffith Observatory is broadcasting the total lunar eclipse this Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight:

Also, Griffith will be hosting public viewing for those in the LA area from 7:30pm – 11:00pm
NOTE: Griffith Park gates will close at 10:00 p.m.
