Want to challenge yourself in math? Join Number Tournament for our annual competition on October 28, 2018!
The Number Tournament is created and organized by a team of very high achieving math students with the objective to help young students boost their number skills. This fun and educational event is expected to attract up to 150 elementary and middle school students from greater LA area to participate.
What is Number Tournament?
The goal of Number Tournament is to boost number fluency through fun games. We believe strong number sense leads to higher math achievement and more advanced problem solving skills!
The Number Tournament consists of 2 individual and 1 team competition. The participants will use certain numbers to make a given result in designated time.
Examples: how close can you get to 70 by using 2, 5, 5, 6? How do you use 2, 3, 4, 5 to make 24?

Date: 10/28 (Sun.)
Time: 9:00am – 12:00 noon
Location: Live Oak Park, 10411 Bogue Street, Temple City , CA 91780
Opens to 3rd to 8th graders
Format: either individual or team are ok. Each player or team will will play three games on using number creatively to score.
Fees: $20 individual; $60 team of four
Awards will be given to the top ranking individuals or teams of each grade level.
