Rooftop Cinema Series on South Lake 2017 – Top Gun
The 5th Annual Rooftop Cinema Series offers a complimentary open-air movie event on Saturday, August 12th.
Guests can enjoy the celebrated romantic action drama Top Gun during Pasadena’s popular summer event.
Come early and arrive by 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the resident DJ and fun pre-show activities. The series concludes with a celebration of the award-winning romantic military film Top Gun in anticipation of the recently announced sequel.
Additional Fun Activities: a Top Gun themed photo op, bounce houses and family-friendly games, prizes & giveaways.
Food vendors include: Dunkin Donuts, Kaboom Kettle Korn, Le Petite Pomme Frites (Mediterranean Cuisine), Los Colorines (Latin Cuisine), Nothing Bundt Cakes and Sushi Burrito.
Bring your own reclining beach chair for a comfortable seating experience.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Rooftop Cinema Series, you might want to take advantage of the event’s special VIP seating area, so that you can get the best seat in the house. About the movie:
As students at the United States Navy’s elite fighter weapons school compete to be the best in the class, one daring pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise) gets under competing pilot’s skin with his cocky and reckless attitude. Besides being at odds with popular student Iceman (Val Kilmer), Maverick fights for the attention of his beautiful and charming flight instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis).
