Sharonlen’s Journal – An Interview With Dr. Arthur Benjamin – World Famous Mathmagician

I am so excited when I know that I will have a chance to be junior journalist for La Jajakids and my first mission is to interview Dr. Authur Benjamin—the world famous Mathemagician. I heard about him since I was 4 years old, but I had never seen him in a person before. This is a great opportunity for me to see him in person.

Since it is my first time, I feel so nervous I don’t know how to prepare and what should I do. So I start with asking my parents and cousins, then searching his information in google, and watching his shows in YouTube many times. At the end, I get 3 questions that I really want to know about him.

When I see his perform on the stage, the only word I can say is “Wow”. He is an amazing person. He can remember and calculate so fast and faster than a calculator in my hand. I love his secrets about Maths. It made me feel like Maths isn’t as difficult as I thought before, and I want to know more about his secrets.

At the end of his show, I go to get his book and his DVD. I am so happy that he gives me his autograph on my book.

During the time we were waiting for Dr. Arthur Benjamin, Jaslyne and Aaron give me a lot of advices on how to be good junior journalist, what should I say, how to hold the microphone and so many tips as they have more experience. I love them and I love to have new friends.

The time is coming, my dream come true. I really have a chance to interview Dr. Arthur Benjamin, he is a very nice and polite man. I don’t feel nervous at all when I ask him. I ask him a question by question, and I get all answers that I would like to know about him.

Finally I would like to say “Thank you” to La Jajakids to this great opportunity. I feel thankful to my aunt –Jannie Ma—who introduced this program to me.
